I founded and led OttoTHON, a 12-hour dance marathon benefiting Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, building the organization from concept to one of the university’s largest and most visible student-led initiatives. In its inaugural year, OttoTHON raised $152,000.
The organization has since raised over $1 million. I built and managed a large volunteer organization spanning fundraising, events, media, partnerships, and university relations.
My work was recognized with Syracuse University’s Philanthropist of the Year and multiple leadership and public engagement awards. The university also installed a permanent plaque in recognition of OttoTHON’s impact and founding leadership.
I continue to advise student leadership on strategy, storytelling, and long-term growth.
